1. Overview

This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") sets forth the rules and guidelines for using QuantLink AI's platform and services (the "Service"). This AUP is incorporated into and forms part of our Terms of Service. By using the Service, you agree to comply with this AUP.

QuantLink reserves the right to update this AUP at any time. Your continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.

2. Permitted Use

The Service is intended for the following permitted uses:

• Personal Research: Using the Service to research and analyze financial data, stocks, and markets for your personal informational purposes
• Internal Business Use: Using the Service for internal business research and analysis (business subscription required), provided data is not redistributed externally
• Educational Purposes: Using the Service to learn about financial markets, data analysis, and investment concepts
• Fair Use Citations: Citing limited portions of QuantLink data or analysis in personal blog posts, social media, or academic papers with proper attribution to QuantLink

All use must comply with applicable laws, regulations, and the terms outlined in this AUP.

3. Prohibited Activities

You may not use the Service to:

• Violate Laws: Engage in any activity that violates applicable local, state, national, or international laws or regulations, including securities laws, anti-money laundering laws, or sanctions regulations
• Market Manipulation: Engage in market manipulation, insider trading, front-running, wash trading, spoofing, or any other form of securities fraud
• Misrepresentation: Impersonate QuantLink, its employees, or any other person or entity, or falsely claim affiliation with QuantLink
• Interference: Interfere with, disrupt, or create an undue burden on the Service, its servers, or the networks connected to the Service
• Unauthorized Access: Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service, other user accounts, or any computer systems or networks connected to the Service
• Malware: Upload, transmit, or distribute any viruses, worms, Trojan horses, malware, or other harmful or destructive code
• Harassment: Harass, threaten, intimidate, or harm other users of the Service
• Spam: Use the Service to send unsolicited commercial communications or advertisements
• Data Mining of Users: Harvest or collect personal information of other users of the Service
• Competing Services: Use the Service to develop, train, or improve a competing product, service, or AI/ML model

4. Data Usage Restrictions

Market Data, AI Outputs, and other Content available through the Service are subject to the following restrictions:

• You may view, use, and download Content for your personal, non-commercial purposes (or internal business purposes with an appropriate subscription)
• You may not systematically download, store, or cache large volumes of data from the Service
• You may not use the Service as a substitute for purchasing data directly from the underlying data providers
• You may not create databases or data sets that replicate a substantial portion of the Content available through the Service
• You may not use Content to train, validate, or test machine learning models, AI systems, or other automated systems without prior written consent from QuantLink

5. Data Redistribution Prohibition

You are welcome to share, screenshot, and distribute Content from the Service for personal, educational, or informational purposes. However, you may not systematically redistribute, resell, sublicense, or commercially exploit Market Data, AI Outputs, or other Content from the Service.

Prohibited redistribution includes, but is not limited to:

• Republishing data on other websites, applications, or platforms in a systematic or bulk manner
• Providing data feeds or APIs that serve QuantLink data to third parties
• Including substantial quantities of QuantLink data in newsletters, reports, or publications distributed to others
• Using QuantLink data in paid advisory, consulting, or research services without a commercial license
• Syndicating QuantLink content through any channel

6. Account Sharing Prohibition

You may not:

• Share your login credentials (username, password, or authentication tokens) with any other person
• Allow multiple individuals to access the Service through your account, whether simultaneously or sequentially
• Transfer your account to another person
• Purchase a single subscription for use by a team, group, or organization (team subscriptions are available separately)

QuantLink monitors for account sharing through technical means, including but not limited to concurrent session detection, unusual access patterns, and geographic anomalies. Violations may result in immediate account suspension or termination without refund.

7. Automated Access and Scraping

You may not use automated tools, bots, robots, spiders, crawlers, data miners, or similar automated technologies to access, collect, or interact with the Service without prior written consent from QuantLink. This includes but is not limited to:

• Web scraping or screen scraping of any kind
• Automated downloading of pages, data, or content
• Using browser automation tools (e.g., Selenium, Puppeteer, Playwright) to access the Service
• Creating automated workflows that repeatedly query the Service
• Using headless browsers or similar technologies to access the Service programmatically

8. Compliance with Laws

You are responsible for ensuring that your use of the Service complies with all applicable laws and regulations, including but not limited to:

• Securities laws and regulations (including SEC, FINRA, and equivalent international regulations)
• Anti-money laundering (AML) and know-your-customer (KYC) requirements
• Economic sanctions and export control laws
• Data protection and privacy laws (GDPR, CCPA/CPRA, PIPEDA, etc.)
• Intellectual property laws
• Anti-fraud and consumer protection laws

9. API Usage (If Applicable)

If QuantLink provides API access as part of your subscription, the following additional rules apply:

• You must use your API key only for authorized purposes and must not share it with third parties
• You must respect rate limits and usage quotas associated with your plan
• You may not use the API to build a product or service that competes with QuantLink
• You may not cache API data beyond the caching duration specified in your plan
• You must implement reasonable error handling and retry logic to avoid excessive API calls
• QuantLink reserves the right to throttle, suspend, or revoke API access for violations of these terms

10. Enforcement and Consequences

QuantLink reserves the right to investigate suspected violations of this AUP and to take any action we deem appropriate, including but not limited to:

• Warning: Issuing a written warning for minor or first-time violations
• Temporary Suspension: Temporarily suspending your account and access to the Service
• Permanent Termination: Permanently terminating your account without refund
• Legal Action: Pursuing legal remedies, including seeking injunctive relief and damages
• Reporting: Reporting suspected illegal activities to law enforcement authorities

QuantLink may take enforcement action at its sole discretion and without prior notice. The severity of the enforcement action will depend on the nature and severity of the violation, whether it is a first or repeated offense, and other relevant factors.

If you become aware of any violation of this AUP by another user, please report it to us at hello@quantlink.ai. Please include as much detail as possible, including the nature of the violation, the user involved (if known), and any supporting evidence.
