1. Personal Data We Collect

Data you give us

• Account data, such as your name, email address, and sign-in details.
• Payment data, such as billing details and transaction history. Payments are processed by our payment processor; we do not store full card numbers.
• Content you create or upload in the Service, including inputs you submit to AI features and content you share with other users.
• Communications, such as support requests, feedback, and survey responses.

Data we collect automatically

• Device and log data, such as IP address, browser and device type, operating system, and error and diagnostic data.
• Usage data, such as pages viewed, features used, searches, clicks, and other interactions with the Service.
• Session recordings. We and our analytics provider may record your sessions in the Service, including mouse movements, clicks, scrolling, page content, and text you enter in fields that are not masked, so that we can see how the Service is used and diagnose problems. Form input fields, including password fields, are masked by default, and payment card details are entered on our payment processor's pages and are not recorded.

Data from third parties

• Sign-in providers, such as your name and email address when you sign in with a third-party account.
• Payment processors, such as payment status and billing details.
• Marketing and advertising partners, such as information about how you reached the Service or contact details you submit through an ad or lead form.

2. How We Use Personal Data

We use personal data to:

• Provide, operate, and maintain the Service, including AI features
• Process payments and manage subscriptions
• Secure the Service and detect and prevent fraud and abuse
• Understand how the Service is used, fix problems, and improve the Service
• Communicate with you about your account, the Service, and support requests
• Send marketing communications, which you can opt out of at any time
• Measure the effectiveness of our marketing and advertising
• Comply with legal obligations and enforce our terms

3. AI Features

When you use AI features, your inputs and related context are sent to third-party AI model providers so they can generate a response. These providers process the data on our behalf to provide the Service. Do not enter sensitive personal information, such as account numbers or government identifiers, into AI features.

4. How We Share Personal Data

We share personal data with:

• Service providers that help us run our business and the Service, such as hosting, database, payment processing, email delivery, analytics, error monitoring, AI model, and customer support providers. They may use personal data only to provide services to us.
• Advertising and marketing partners, such as Google, Meta, LinkedIn, and X. Their tags on our websites collect information about your visit, and when you sign up we may send them your email address in hashed form and identifiers such as ad click IDs, so that they can measure our ads and help us reach people who may be interested in the Service.
• Other users, when you choose to share content or collaborate in the Service.
• Legal and safety recipients, when we believe disclosure is required by law or needed to protect the rights, property, or safety of QuantLink, our users, or others.
• Business transfers, as part of a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets.
• With your consent or at your direction.

We may also share aggregated or de-identified data that cannot reasonably identify you. We keep de-identified data in de-identified form and do not attempt to re-identify it, except as permitted by law.

5. Retention

We keep personal data for as long as we need it for the purposes described in this policy, such as to provide the Service while your account is active, and as needed to comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. When we no longer need it, we delete or de-identify it.

6. Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect personal data. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

7. International Transfers

QuantLink is based in the United States and does not offer the Service in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or Switzerland. We and our service providers process personal data in the United States and may process it in other countries, which may have different data protection laws than where you live.

8. Your Rights and Choices

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or receive a copy of your personal data; to object to or restrict certain processing; to withdraw consent; and to appeal our decision on your request. To make a request, email support@quantlink.ai. We may need to verify your identity before we respond. You can also use an authorized agent where the law allows it.

You can unsubscribe from marketing emails at any time with the link in the email. You can control cookies through your browser settings, as described in our Cookie Policy. Third parties, including our analytics and advertising partners, may collect information about your online activities over time and across different websites when you use the Service. Some browsers send a "Do Not Track" signal. Because there is no common standard for these signals, the Service does not currently respond to them. We will not discriminate against you for exercising your privacy rights.

9. U.S. State Privacy Rights

Residents of California and certain other U.S. states have additional rights. In the past 12 months, we collected the categories of personal data described in Section 1 (identifiers, commercial information, internet and network activity, approximate location, and inferences about your use of the Service) from the sources and for the purposes described above, and disclosed them to the categories of recipients described in Section 4.

We do not sell personal data for money. Our use of advertising partners described in Section 4 may be considered a "sale" or "sharing" for targeted advertising under some state laws. You can opt out by emailing support@quantlink.ai with the subject line "Do Not Sell or Share". We do not knowingly sell or share the personal data of anyone under 18, and we do not use sensitive personal data for purposes that require an opt-out.

10. Children

The Service is not directed to children and is intended only for users who are at least 18 years old. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13, as defined by the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act, or personal data from anyone under 18. If you believe a child or other person under 18 has given us personal data, contact us at support@quantlink.ai. If we learn that we have collected such data, we will delete it and close the account.

11. Students and Educational Institutions

QuantLink is not an educational agency or institution, and the Service is not offered to elementary or secondary schools. When a student uses the Service, including through a college, university, or other institution, we collect the student's personal data directly from the student and handle it under this Privacy Policy, in the same way as for any other user. Unless we have signed a separate written agreement with an institution that designates QuantLink as a "school official" under the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act ("FERPA"), we do not receive education records from institutions and do not act on their behalf. Where such an agreement exists, it governs the education records it covers.

12. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy at any time. The updated policy is effective when we post it with a new Effective Date, unless it states a later date. We may notify you of changes by email, in the Service, or by other reasonable means, and we will provide any notice or obtain any consent that applicable law requires. Your continued use of the Service after an updated policy becomes effective means you accept it.
